There is much in-depth characterization, and a lot of description, more than you would usually find in a mystery. Highly readable, expertly researched and thoroughly enjoyable, Camp Verde: Texas Frontier Defense is a must read for local history enthusiasts, especially Texans. Yes, the ideas and suggestions were valuble, but you should already know this going into boat construction.A few of his suggestions pertaining to using an inverted circular saw as a "make-do" table saw is down-right dangerous at best. (Although the scene where dangerous twins attempt to seduce one of the main characters into letting them "play" with her was very hawt!)~The `Spy' aspects of the book are less "Jane Bond" action and adventure, and more icky/sleazy corporate digging and morals-compromising work, that I felt sadly sympathetic for the character `Penn' for having to stoop to.~The "HLS" is nice, and certainly tastefully written, but I feel it a bit hurried. This book answers the "why" question over and over in a very easy to understand syntax. The company, whose name translates as “Little Rice” in Chinese, currently dominates China’s mid-range smartphone market.
